At Beacon on 5th Pet Friendly Apartments in Charlottesville, we know that keeping pets happy keeps their owners happy, too! That’s why we offer a lifestyle that pet owners love. We believe in a clean, safe environment for all pets and that means respectful scooping of waste.
We welcome you and your pet to Beacon on 5th Pet-Friendly Apartments. Please read about our pet policy below.
Monthly Pet Fee = $30 monthly, each pet
Two Pet Minimum
Pet Fee = $400 first pet and $250 second pet
Restricted breeds are allowed provided the animal has been Certified (proof required) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) from the American Kennel Club.
Breed Restrictions. No aggressive breeds shall be permitted unless approved. Aggressive breeds are identified by the National Center for Disease Control and include but are not limited to:Pit Bull, Rottweiler, German Shepard, Malamute, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow, Great Dane, Saint Bernard, Wolf-Dog Hybrid, Pit Bull Type, Husky-Type, Alaskan Malamute
We love puppies and kittens, but not what they do to our floors! Please bring proof of age. We ask that all pets have had their shots provided by a licensed professional. Beacon on 5th Apartments participates in the doggie DNA.
There is no weight limit or height limit, but please bring your pets to the community along with a photograph before your move-in date so that we can meet them! Showing proof of renter’s insurance with liability coverage is the final step in ensuring that Beacon on 5th Apartments will be a proper home for your pet.
We need your help! Having a pet is a big responsibility! One of those responsibilities is to clean up after your pet. Beacon on 5th Apartments participates in the doggie DNA program.
We also provide pet stations with poop disposal bags to make it easy to do the right thing. Simply place the waste in a garbage can. Everyone will be happier when you pick up after your pet! Please avoid receiving a $50 fine for non-compliance. For the safety of our community, which includes small pets and children, all pets must always be on a leash. Any resident not complying with this will be in violation of his or her lease terms and will be fined $200.
